Trust them.<\/li>\n<li>I learned that finding water fill-ups isn&#8217;t too difficult &#8230; neither are showers (nor are hot springs!)<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t need to worry about where to camp a night because worse comes to worst, I&#8217;m in a parking lot and get crappy sleep one night. Then I go elsewhere. No big deal.<\/li>\n<li>If where I&#8217;m camped isn&#8217;t ideal, I can move.<\/li>\n<li>The batteries are fine.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m not going to run out of food. There are grocery stores in most towns.<\/li>\n<li>Having a spare 5 gal gas can gives good peace of mind.<\/li>\n<li>The dogs adapt. I do as well.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s easy to find places to fill up the propane, and it lasts much\u00a0longer than expected.<\/li>\n<li>Mud is a hassle, but can always clean the camper.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s not difficult to tell if the area chosen is likely to flood.<\/li>\n<li>There are a lot of fascinating people out there, and it&#8217;s fun to talk with them.<br \/>\n(I knew the first part, but I&#8217;d forgotten the second part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a previous post I wrote, &#8220;<em>&#8230;take one step at a time, not to give credence to the future unknowns, and watch for cairns \u2013 the markers of where others have gone and suggested a reasonable path<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A friend of mine sent me a message, &#8220;<em>There&#8217;s your epiphany.
